About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am an Irish citizen travelling in Thailand at the moment - can I get a visa to visit china online?

I am in Phuket at the moment and I'm going to china on 15 February. How can I get a visa for China while I am in Thailand (travelling to Cambodia and Vietname before China) Many thanks, Jenny.

You can try to apply for China tourist visa in Thailand, there are China embassy in Bangkok, China consulate in Chiang Mai and Songkhla, you can choose one to submit visa application.

Since Jan 1, 2012, the new regulations about China tourist visa for sightseeing have carried out, you have to provide the round-trip flight tickets or hotel booking if you can't provide an itinerary issued by a travel agency in China.
