About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Im getting my U.S passport renew in China, what should i do with my current Working resident permit?

Im getting a renewed u.s passport in Guangzhou China. What should I do about my resident permit visa? How doI move my current visa to the new passport? Should i also report my new passport number to exapt office at the same time or wait for the visa renewal in August 2012?

I called the PSB I was told that I have 10 Days to report my new passport and transfer the resident visa to the new passport for Y300 RMB. FYI I was also told I must report my new passport number to the Exapts office also. So again we can NOT use our old passport after getting a new passport. Please dont forget guys

There is not a service for transfering the residence permit visa on old paspsort to the new passport. You can wait for the visa renewal in August 2012. It is ok for you use the residence permit visa on old paspsort, please take old and new passports together.
