married to Chinese girl. family visa, can i bring my 5 year old son from previous marriage?

I am married to a chineae and want to stay in China for a long stay. I know I can get the new family visa, but can my 5 year old son from my previous marriage come with me on the same family visa and get a resident permit like mine?
