The Chinese embassy in Pretoria (ZA) asks for "hotel reservation in China" to issue a tourist Visa.

Do I have to provide hotel reservations for each single day of my stay in China or only for the hotel where I will check-in immediately after my arrival in China? I couldn't get an answer to that from the embassy.
