online appointment for China visa application in CVASC

Hi Guys! I've bought tickets to China for the 19th of Jan and I;m slightly cofused about the visa application system. On the website the online appointments are booked out and the site doesn't let you look at February's availabilities. I also filled out the on-line application and once i complete it does it process by it self or do I need to go to the CVASC to process it?

If you apply China visa through CVASC in Sydney,
1. book an online appointment via the website of CVASC Sydney
2. submit visa application to CVASC on the appointed date, you can submit it in person or ask your friend to do it for you
