What clothes to pack for traveling in Macau, Bejiing, Xi'an, and Shanghai

I will be teaching in Macau March-May, then traveling around southern china for the first few weeks of may before heading to northern china. What can you recommend to pack for clothing? What about business casual clothing? I plan on staying in hostels while in china as well, is there anything i should know. Such as bring a sleeping bag?

Hi, Janay, it would have been 15-20 degrees since early March in Macau. At other places, wear thin sweater and overcoat in March. It has been quite warm since April, Long-slleve T-shirt and jacket are enough. Sleeping bag is not necessary, in fact. There are some chain hostels which are clean and cheap. I usually choose to stay in Jinjiang Inn when I go to Beijing and Shanghai. I would like to help more if you still have questions.
