what kind of visa do i need

Question

I lived in china for 5 years as a student, now I am in Italy in student visa too, I am a Nepal citizen, do I need to apply for tourist visa to enter mainland ? Should I apply from Rome ?  I want to Goto HK for few days during my stay in china, although I have Italian temporary residence card, do I still need to apply the HK visa? If so then do I need to get multi entry visa for mainland? Thank you very much

You need both China mainland visa and Hong kong visa to visit these two places. As your itinerary will be mainland China-Hong kong-mainland China, you need to apply for a double-entry China visa and a single-entry Hong Kong visa. Check which consular district ( https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/italy.htm) you are living in and you need to go to China embassy or consulate in that consular district to apply for China visa and Hong Kong visa.
