require details on requirements of visa

Hi , I am a indian resident living and working in the U.A.E. I would like to travel to Beijing for my vacation. Please let me know the requirements of applying for the Visa and whether I can apply at the Consulate in Dubai. Do I have to also show confirmed hotel and flight booking details ?

So you are going to apply for a China tourist visa? If so, the requirements include: your passport and one recent passport photos; visa application forms V2011A and V2011B; your UAE residency visa valid for at least 6 months (Excluding non-GCC applicants); copies of the data pages of your passport and UAE rsidency visa; a no-objection letter from your company stating your monthly or yearly salary; an invitation from CHINA either from a company, organization or individual with a copy of the company licenses or individual ID cards or passport & residence visa; round-trip air tickets.You can apply at the Consulate in Dubai.
