If you hold regular passport, you need to go to China Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) in KL to apply for the visa ( add: 2nd Floor, Plaza OSK, 25 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur).
I'm not clear what kind of visa you are going to apply for. But the basic requirements are: your passport and one recent passport photo; visa application form V2011A.
A single-entry China visa needs 30 Ringgit if you are Malaysia passport holder.
It usually takes 4 working days to process a visa.
