What visa would I need? I am busy applying for a job to go work in China as an English teacher.

I am busy applying for a job to go work in China as an English teacher. What visa would I need or would I need a work permit and how would I go about getting the work permit or long term visa?

First, you have to find a school to employ you as an English teacher, then your employer has to apply for work permit issued to foreign experts by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the official invitation letter issued by an authorized unit.

After you obtain the two documents, you can apply for work visa in India, after entering China, you can change work visa into residence permit.
