Passport loss in China

I am based in Shanghai, lost my passport and will have to set up everything before going back home in a month time. How long does it take to have a new passport? what are the papers I need? any specific procedure? I wonder why I am expecting help from our dear embassy, maybe because i wish things are improving, or our people in Beijing are positively influenced by the chinese fast way of doing things.

If you can provide the copy of your passport, it takes less time to have a new passport, otherwise, it takes about 1 month for the processing. Please report the loss of your passport to a police station in Shanghai and get a Lost Report, then go to Morocca embassy in Beijing to apply for a new passport or emergency travel document.
