v-o-a for one day trip to shenzhen. I'm an Indonesian citizen; Indonesia passport holder.

Hi, i'm an Indonesian citizen; Indonesia passport holder.
If during my trip to Hongkong I suddenly decide to visit Shenzhen for only one day (return trip HK-Shenzhen), can I apply the visa on the spot? If yes, what are the requirements and conditions? Kindly advise! Thanks!

I'm afraid no, especially when this is your first visit to mainland china. But if you have a previously used China visa on your new or old passport, you may get a Shenzhen visa on arrival.

@David: thanks for the info. This isn't my first time. I've entered China (Shenzhen included) previously but it was in my old passport.

If you have a previously used China visa, it is possible for you to get a Shenzhen visa on arrival. It doesn't matter it's on your old or new passport. Besides the previously used visa, you'd better provide the return ticket too.
