You may consider Best Western Premier Richful Green Hotel Hangzhou, which is near the West Lake and very convenient for shopping and amusement. Bamboo Grove Hotel is a good hotel in Suzhou and it is located in the city center, only 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the Garden of Master of Nets and the Gentle Waves Garden. Also it is very convenient for shopping.
