About:China Work Visa

Additional requirement for Z pass application

I'm a Filipino. Applying for a Z pass. Submitted: Invitation letter of Duly Authoirized Unit, Alien employment license, filled up appllication form and employment contract. Embassy called me up and asked me to get a work permit issued by the cultural ministry of foreigners for performers. How and what will I tell my employer what is this additional document that the embassy asked?

If you come to China for commercial entertainment performance, it is true that the Approval document (original and copy) issued by the Ministry of Culture or the Cultural Department of related province, autonomous region or municipality is required. It is not the work permit issued by the cultural ministry of foreigners for performers.
