About:Zhengzhou Travel

SHAOLIN TEMPLE & LONGMEN GROTTO.

How far is Shaolin Temple and Longmen Grotto from Zhengzhou? Can I visit them from Zhengzhou in one day? Should I take a train from Zhengzhou and what direction or what is the cost to hire a taxi to visit both places?Any other World Heritage protected sites in Zhenzhou area, worhtwhile for visiting?

It is about 90km from Zhengzhou to Shaolin Temple and about 130km from Zhengzhou to Longmen Grotto. If you want to visit them in one day, I suggest you join a local one day tour in Zhengzhou. If your hire a taxi, the taxi fare is very expensive. What's more, time is a little hurry to do this tour yourself.
Apart from the two famous attrations, you can also go to visit Yellow River Scenic Area, Song Mountain and Yin Xu (Yin Ruins).
