The best way to get from Crowne Plaza Ningbo Center to PUTUOSHAN and to Shanghai and to PVG airport?

1) I assume we should get to some port (by taxi? how much? or by local bus) and take a ferry there? Right?
How much nomey and time it will take?

2) I heard that there are basically two ways to Shanghai each taking 3-4 hours: train or bus. They say a bus trip is more spectapular. Is it true? What departure and arrival bus stations are mots sutable for me as I stay Crowne Plaza Ningbo Center and in Pacific Hotel in Shanghai, near metro station "People's square".

3) My international flight takes off at 11:45 a.m. at PVG terminal 2. Having in mind that my Pacific Hotel in Shanghai, near metro station People's square is on the same line, how early must we leave our hotel and take metro to Pudong Airport? Does trains go uninterupted (without exiting/entering on some surface areas) from metro station "People's square" to PVG airport? If I exit my Pacific Hotel near metro station "People's square" at 08:00 a.m. will I get to PVG airport by 08:45-09:00? I want to have breakfast at airport.
