About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am an Australian citizen. Can I lodge my visa application in Canberra?

I am an Australian citizen. Can I lodge my visa application in Canberra? Although I am a NSW resident I live closer to Canberra than Sydney and work in Canberra. I have a bank cheque payable to "Chinese Embassy"for my visa fee. Will that be acceptable? Please return my answer as soon as possible as it is urgent. Thank you.

You need to show a temporary residence permit to prove you live in Canberra now, then you can lodge your visa application in Canberra. A bank cheque payable to "Chinese Embassy"for visa fee is acceptable.
