About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Work in China on a Z visa but get payment abroad. How to pay tax to Chinese government?

Dear, I would like to know if it is possible to work in China with a Z visa (more than 6 months) but remain on a foreign company payroll. (not being paid by chinese company) Is there a way to pay taxes to Chinese governement with a salary paid abroad ??

I'm not very clear about this issue. But most international companies pay their employees in China through the branches in China and the tax will be decreased from the salary directly.
If you can do it, I mean work in China but get paid from abroad, you can consult the local China tax bureau how to pay tax.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. We are still trying to figure out how to do it. The problem is that the company that i work for doesn't have any branches in China. I don't want to get paid by a sponsored company inside China to not loose my benefits in that comes with my canadian salary.
