About:Taibai Mountain National Forest Park

Camping in Mt. Taibai

Hi! My husband and I are planning to hike and camp in Mt. taibai soon, can anyone help us with the info as follows:
1. Are we allowed to camp on the peak of taibai or even somewhere on the way to the peak?
2. Is it safe to camp there?
3. What are the wild/dangerous animals that we need to be aware of?
4. The camping site, is it inside the tourist area where we pay for the admission fee?

I've been browsing some sites but we haven't found info about those particular things yet. Thought maybe someone would be able to help here. Thanks in advance! :)

You can camp on the peak but as I know some part of the area is forbidden to enter for foreigners. You need a guide or I do not suggest you go hiking and camp there. The camping site if inside the tourist area. You should pay admission fee and enter the tourist area, then hiking. Still suggest you take the cable car to save strength. Anyway, it is not that safe to the depth of the mountain even if you have guide with you.

Hi Jamie, thanks for yor info. I really appreciate it. We'll unlikely take cable car since our intention is to get exercise by hiking, but who knows due to circumstances.. Also, any idea why the depth of the mountain is not safe enough to hike and camp? Is it the animals, the trail, or anything else?

Yes, may have wild animals and you may get lost.
