The Dog & The Dragon ????

Iam a water dog & my partner is a earth dragon. Everywhere i read they say we are the least compatible. Ive known her 9 years. we were on & off for the 1st three years then she moved in with me ever since. We have our disagreements but we have nice moments as well. I think we get along fairly well conidering the years we ve been together. she can be a bit insensitive at times. Does any one maybe give some insight or opinions on this topic because like i said everywhere i read about the dog n the dragon they say we are not compatible.???? Help !!! What do you think???
