Good Day: We are planning on taking a train from Shanghai to Beijing and would like to know if we can stop off to see the Terracotta soldiers on the way. How do we arrange such a trip? Is it possible? How much does the train cost?

TerraCotta Soldiers in Xi'an City is not on the way from Shanghai to Beijing. So, you can not stop off to see on the way. You should go to Beijing then, take train Xian, or you can go to Xian first and then Beijing. It is about 12 hours by train between Beijing and Xian.
