About:China Visa Application in USA

I fell in love with a woman in China. She has a nice business going and want me to meet, marry .

for me to stay there with her. What type of visa should I get? Do I need a medical examine in the USA or can I get that in China? I don't speak much Mandarin? Any advice? Anything I should be aware of? What is the best way to take $8,000 dollars with me? Can I take my gold coins with me? Should I buy American Express t.c.? What are the best days of the week to book a flight for the best fares? What are the best times to book to save money? Some time between now and Valentine's day? What airlines typically offer the best fares? Is stand-by a good option to use? Are there courier deals for me to avail myself?

You need to apply for a L visa to China, then make marriage registration in China. The medical examination is not required for L visa application. Once you get married in China, you can try to apply for a visa with long term stay duration, such as 60 days or 90 days.

You can take $8,000 into China, but you need to fill the Customs Declaration because it is more than $ 5000 (5,000 US dollars (or equivalent in any foreign currency) or 20,000 CNY is permitted.)

if gold coins are less than 50g (2 ounce), they are duty-free and do not need to be declared. If the weight exceeds the limitation, you should declare it.
