China visa problem over national holiday

Recently my F visa expired and the office gave me a 7day tourist visa. However, we are on national holiday now and by the time the office reopens my visa will have expired (by one day). Can you suggest any solution? I am living in shanghai. There has been a hold up from my chinese company that is why this has happened. Thanks
