About:Shenyang Attractions

What attractions are there in Shenyang & Changchun?

We are going to visit Shenyang in December 2011. How many days do I need to see the main attractions? Is there much to see in Shenyang?

We are also planning on going to Changchun? How many days do I need there?

Shenyang also has an imperial palace, which is of the Qing Dynasty before Qing troop enter Central China. You can also visit Beiling Park, it is also the site for Emperor Taizong (Huang Taiji) and his empress's mausoleum. Changchun has the Museum of Imperial Palace of Manchu State and you can also visit the famous Changbai Mountain Heavenly Lake from Changchun. 2-3 days in each city are enough.

I have been to ChangBai Shan Nature Reserve from ChangChun. If you drive there, you will need three days two nights. Understand there are now flights from ChangChun. A day will be very rush for you. However, the road leading to the beautiful heavenly lake will be closed from Sept to May. Better skip ChangBai Shan in Dec.
