chage x visa to l visa in shanghai

I want to change my X visa to a L visa in Shanghai if I can what do my uni need to provide that I can do this?

You need to go to shanghai Public Security Bureau (PSM) Exit and Entry Administration to renew your visa. You need to submit passport, photocopies of your passport id page, your current visa, and your last entry stamp; and a residency registration to get the new visa.
