transport from turban to urumgi airport

Question

We are a group of 6 traveling along Kashgar/Hotan/Minfeng/Korla/Turban/Lake Tianchi/Urumgi town. But one of us have to by pass Lake Tianchi and take a direct transport from Turban to Urumgi Airport on the same and departure flight at 1610 hrs.Any advise of public or provide transport option/cost from Turban to Urumgi Airport and distance of the journey

There seems no direct transport from Turban to Urumqi Airport. You can take long-distance bus from Turban to Urumqi, then take a taxi directly to the airport. Or take a taxi to Urumqi train station and then take the airport shuttle bus to the airport.
