Hi, how much cosmetics can I bring into China? I have some estee lauder skin cares / make up that I bring for my mom. do I need to declare? will they tax me on it?

Do not take too much or several the same skin cares. Two for each kind of skin cares/make up make sense. The custom duty for cosmetics is 50%, very high. If they do not believe you are a purchasing agent, no tax and do not need to declare.
