essential places to travel

I am travelling to china from new delhi for a holiday starting 2nd october through the 11th. I have booked my self for beijing>shanghai & huang zou. I am travelling by china eastern. Just wanted to ask should I be including more places( must ) in my itinerary and how is this flight china eastern. Also what are the essentials I should be shopping

If time permits, Xian, Guilin and Yangtze Cruise are also good choices. China Eastern Airline is a reliable air company. It is still warm in Oct, you do not need to bring much things with you and articles of everyday use is ok. May be an umbrella can help you avoid getting wet when it rains sometimes.
