About:Embassy & Consulates of Philippines in China

process to get my son from philippines

good day!

i want my son to come here in xi'an and visit me for a vacation next year (april to may 2012). he is a minor, 14yrs old. and will travel with my mother. i want to know what documents should i prepare from here which will be sent to phils. and is it possible if i can apply for a dependent visa for him instead?
please advise me. thank you very much.

I think you can only apply for him a China visit visa. You should provide him an invitation letter with a copy of your valid Chinese residence visa and passport information page or your Chinese national identity card. If you will sponsor the trip, provide your bank certificate and sponsorship will ne also needed. I'm not sure whether there is the possibility to apply for a dependant visa for him, but you may try to confirm this with the China Embassy in Philippines.
