Confused-For processing of Z Visa while in China

I am currently here in China looking for suppliers for our family business. In good faith, a company offered me a job. I am willing to take the job as soon as they had processed my working visa. They had already provided me with Employment License and Confirmation Letter of Invitation. However,in the confirmation letter, It was indicated that "....has invited to come to China on 2011.09.17 for work....." what should I do since I am currently here in China already? Does this mean that I need to go back to the Philippines to process my working visa? I am currently holding a multiple business visa valid for 6 months and it will expire on November since my main purpose was to do business here. I have no plans of going back home as early as now because I am not yet finished negotiating with other suppliers and sourcing. Please advise. Thank you very much!

Work visas cannot be applied within China. You have to go to your home country to apply for it. I'm afraid there is no other choice.

Thank you very much, David! Your response is highly appreciated. Thank you!

Also, I need to know if the CONFIRMATION LETTER OF INVITATION has any EXPIRATION? because it says there "....has invited to China to come for work on 2011.09.17...." If I will come back to the Philippines to process my Z Visa on October, can I still use the same confirmation letter of invitation even it says there that I had been invited to come to China for work on September 17, 2011 or the company needs to get another confirmation letter of invitation? I've seen on my Alien Employment License that it is valid for 6 months, what about the validity of my confirmation letter of invitation?

Thank you very much!!!!!

The confirmation letter of invitation is also valid for six months. If you'll apply in your home country, there should be no problem.
