taxis tofrom terracotta warriors from airport

Question

I am thinking of flying into Xian airport in the morning, then taking a taxi to the museum (storing luggage at airport), then coming back to fly out of Xian (to Beijing) in the evening. Can you advise how far is the museum from the airport by taxi? 3hrs to do the museum right? Are their taxis available at the museum, to take  back to airport? are their shops/restaurants near the museum?

I would suggest you take taxi to Terra Cotta Museum and then to the airport directly. You can store your luggage in the terra Cotta Warriors museum. It waste of time and money to get to the airport and then to the museum and finally get to the airport. It is about 70km from the airport to the museum. 3 hours to do the museum including the time spend on the way? Suggest you hire a taxi from the city center and then pick you to the airport after visiting the museum. There are shops and restaurants near the museum.
