Train T99B (Shanghai-Kowloon) border formalities

This is a cross-border train. How far in advance is it possible to book?
Where is the border control procedures made? On board after Guangzhou? On arrival in Kowloon?

You could book the tickets around 20 days in advance. Personnel of Immigration Bureau will check your entry documents after Guangzhou.
