I am a Singapore citizen. I will be staying there with my son who is working in Shanghai. Do I need to submit my application with his address? What does 3 months bank statement means?

If you will stay with your son in Shanghai, you should better prepare a certificate of relationship and an invitation letter from him, and in the letter his address is required. 3 months bank statements with receipt or original passbook is needed only when visa officers deem necessary, it is a proof to cover your expense in China.
