visit qiandaohu from hangzhou city for a day trip

I would like to visit Qiandaohu? Please advise how to get there from Hangzhou city. Can it be a day trip?Thank you.

You can take bus from Hangzhou West Long-distance Bus Station to Qiandaohu. The bus runs from 06:00 to 18:50 every 30 minutes. It takes about 2 hours. A day trip is OK from Hangzhou to Qiandaohu.
