About:Chinese Embassy in Iran

What Hong Kong visa do I need for attending an international exhibition in Hong Kong?

Dear sir,

I am about to travel to Hong Kong in December, as I am an exhibitor in an international exhibition (Siggraph Asia) and I have almost done everything about our booth there. Considering that I have to get the HKsar visa, what should I provide the embassy as an invitation letter from the exhibition holders? I mean what info should be included on this letter, and how should I provide the embassy with the letter, should I ask the exhibition to contact or I can simply attach the letter with my application for visa?
I will need to stay about a week. Thank you for helping me by answering my questions.

Regards

You ust need to attach the letter issued by a trade body in Hong Kong to confirm your attendance at trade fairs and exhibitions for Hong Kong Visit Visa Application. You don't need to ask the exhibition to contact the embassy.

Besides the invitation letter, you also need to provide:
Application for Entry for Visit/Transit in Hong Kong (ID 1003A)

your recent photograph (affixed on page 1 of the application form ID 1003A)

Photocopy of your passport containing personal particulars, date of issue, date of expiry and/or details of any re-entry visa held (if applicable)

Photocopy of proof of your financial standing, e.g. bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc. and proof of employment (if any), e.g. company leave letter, salary slips, etc.

Photocopy of proof of transportation arrangement, e.g. flight itinerary

Dear madam,
Thanks for the quick reply, I am Amir the one who asked about HK visa below. I have two more questions that I would be grateful if you answer. First, the exhibition has sent me the invitation letter as an email, is it ok to print this or I should tell them to send me a letter via the actual post? And second, should I only feel the application form for visa of HongKong or I should apply for a visa for china at the same time as well? Should I search for HKSAR visa on the website?

Thanks a lot.

If you'll only visit Hong Kong, only Hong kong visa application form is needed.
I'm not clear if the printed invitation letter is accpeted by the embassy or not. Maybe you can consult them directly for the info: Tel: +9821-22291240, 22292566, 2229124; Email:mfa.gov.cn|chinaemb_ir, neda.net|emchnir
