About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Can I apply for a Chinese visa for me and my friends?

2 of my friends and I will go to China and since they are working, I was wondering if they can just fill out the application form, give me all the required documents (incl. passport) and I apply for the visa for all 3 of us in person in Tokyo. Is that possible, or do you have to apply in person/via a travel agency?

First, if you and two friends are Japanese, you don't need a visa to China for less than 15 days visit. Otherwise, you have to apply for China visa through a travel agency. (you can submit visa application of you and your friends to a travel agency)

Second, if you and two friends are not Japanese, you can submit visa application directly to China embassy in Tokyo, you don't need to apply visa through the travel agency. (you can submit visa application of you and your friends to the embassy)
