Renew my Hong Kong Travel Document in Australia

I am a permanent resident in Australia. My HK document of identity expires early 2012. I am required to renew it and would like to know if this process can be completed whilst residing in Australia. I am a permanent resident in Australia and have a migratory / permanent visa contained in it.

You need to go back to Hong Kong to renew your HK document of identity. Sorry for that~
But if you apply for a hong Kong passport, the Embassy of China in Australia will help you get a new HK ID card.
