About:China Visa on Arrival

Can Indonesian get Shenzhen visa on arrival if stay there on 15-17 september 2011?

I am Indonesian, and plan to go to shenzhen on 15-17 september 2011. can i get visa on arrival on this date? because i heard that on special event, we can't get visa on arrival. Thank you

Is this your first visit to China? If so, I'm afraid there is little chance for you to get a Shenzhen visa on arrival.

The Shenzhen visa on arrival is stopped to be issued during 07/15-08/31 because of 2010 Shenzhen Universiade. Since you'll travel on 15-17 september, you may get a visa on arrival. But I'm not 100% sure, especially if this is your first time to China as answered by David.
Even if you have a previous used China visa, They may refuse to issue the visa on arrival without any reason.
