What is the weather in Taipei?

Im might be going to Taipei during October. Will it be cold during that time? If I just bring my sweater and wear normal clothes like shorts and shirt, will that be ok?

Usually, summer shorts will be ok in Taipei in the hot Oct. However, typhoon may also happen sometimes, so it is suggested that you check the weather forecast before leaving.
