back to Dengshenmen by 919 and then get off the bus, walk along the road on your side till you find the entrance to Jishuitan Subway Station. Then take subway Line 2 for one stop to Xizhimen and then change to Line 4 to Beigongmen Station. That is the north gate to Summer Palace.
