About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Altai : Backpacking to Altai by bus from Urumqi. Do I need to apply for any special permit to go to Altai (kanas lake)?

You don't need any special permit to go to Altai (Kanas Lake), your valid passport and valid China visa are ok for your trip.
