Xuwumen to Badaling Transportation

I'll live in a hotel near Xuanwumen Gate. How can I get to Badaling Great Wall from my hotel?

Two opitions:
1. take subway line 2 to xizhimen, then walk to Beijing north railway station to take a train to Badaling;
1. take the subway line 2 to Jishuitan, then walk to Deshengmen to take a bus no. 919 through line or express line to Badaling.
