Are there senior's discounts on train travel?

We are 2 seniors over 70 and want to travel on train from Beijing to Shanghai and back. Is there any restriction on baggage? We are international travelers. Thanks.

One is only allowed to take 20kg free baggage on the train. And there is no preferential price of train tickets for seniors.
