Now Taiwan & china has typhoon? If we intend to travel on end of August 2011, if is safe to travel?

Yes, the typhoon 'Meihua' still influences some places in Taiwan and China mainland. It is hard to say whether it will be safe or not till that time. You'd better pay attention to the weather forecast of China before going there, especially the news of typhoon in China.
