Will be visiting Jiuzhaigou for winter during 2nd week of December 2011.

I will be going to Jiuzhaigou in Dec 2011 and I would like to know more about winter in Jiuzhaigou .
As for the cold weather, we should we, from sunny Singapore have to expect from the coldness there ?
As for photography during winter, where are hot spots or favourable camera spots or tips ?

First time going to Jiuzhaigou during winter with my family.
