is august a good month to visit beijing?

I will be traveling to Beijing from 19th August.  What weather should I expect and what kind of clothing should I bring?

It is still hot in August of Beijing. Short-sleeve t-shirt will be enough. Or maybe you need to bring a thin coat also. just in case it rains which will make the temp lower.
