Hi I am filling out the new 2011 Visa form but I have not decided which hotel I am staying at

Is the chinese govt strict on places where I will stay..can I list a couple of hotelks where I think I will stay in china and hong kong..I am talking about sections 2.5 2.8 and 2.9 on the new 2011A visa form. Thanks in advance for your help!
