About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

HK family visa. Can I sponsor my family to live with me in Hongkong where I am working?

Hi there,
I am a Filipino staying in UAE but my company will assign me in our Hongkong office, can I sponsor my family to live with me in Hongkong? They are currently in the Philippines, what I must do if I want to bring them there?

Yes, but you need to get a HK ID first to be a sponsor, your family can apply for dependant visas to accompany your employment visa in Hong Kong. Requirements for HK dependent visa are as follows:
1. Passport/travel document with blank pages and a validity of at least 6 months.
2. One completed application form affixed with one passport-sized photo.
3. One copy of the sponsor's HK ID and the sponsor's telephone number.
4. Proofs of relationship between applicant and sponsor.
