Question about China visa application from V2011A and V2011B.

I urgently need to apply for a CHINESE STUDENT VISA - X VISA from the CHINESE CONSULATE GENERAL in KHI during the THIS WEEK: from 25th of July till 29th of July.And if not this week, then regardless of whatever the circumstances are on my side, would have to apply in the 1st week of August.

First of all I am listing all of the 3 VISA APPLICATION FORMS , that are "available" and are specifically "applicable" at the Chinese Consulate General, in KHI ONLY.
1) V.2011A VISA APPLICATION FORM OF THE PEOPLE REPUBLIC OF CHINA VERSION '1'.

2) V.2011A VISA APPLICATION FORM OF THE PEOPLE REPUBLIC OF CHINA VERSION '2'.

3) V.2011B SUPPLEMENTARY VISA APPLICATION FORM OF THE PEOPLE REPUBLIC OF CHINA

a) Version "1", is the form which was handed over to me personally by a Pakistani Visa officer assistant.
b) Version "2", is the V.2011A form which I myself downloaded from the Chinese Consulate General,KHI, website.

My 1st query is, which of these two forms, that is actually used when applying for the Chinese Student Visa - X Visa from the Chinese Consulate General in KHI?
I duly respect the fact that there are many people on this forum board who must have applied for a Chinese Student Visa, but I would be thankful for any estimation, guess, or approximation, which will certainly put me in the right direction.

In PART 2 , I will list the other remaining questions related to V.2011A (Version 1 , Version 2) and V.2011B

The application form V2011A should be https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/visa-application.pdf you can download here from this website. V2011B is https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/pdf/visa-application-form.pdf For study in China（X-visa）, please fill out the section B of this form.

Hey Kyle,
Hope this message of mine finds you in the best of health and thank you so much for you reply, response and most importantly your understanding.
Sir, the visa application form: V.2011A (Version 2) was downloaded directly from the Chinese Consulate General (KHI) website. Since this form was declared, presented, openly submitted and uploaded on their official website, I was hoping to be informed if this visa application form: V.2011A (VERSION 2), could be used when applying for a visa from the Chinese Consulate General in Khi.

And there won’t be an issue too, since one of my friends has got his same Chinese Student Visa X Visa – approved from the Chinese Consulate General in KHI, after applying for Visa on this form (V.2011A VERSION 2), three/two months back.

VERSION 2 of V.2011A is the one , which is in the form of a PDF document, but the information/data and the required informational input needed from the candidate applicant can be “ entered, edited, saved, modified and RESET too” depending upon the candidate’s sole discretion. For all of the information/data and informational input entered into the form, it can be “RESETTED” very much easily by just pressing the “RESET FORM” mentioned at the top-right corner of the form screen, above the “PHOTO-required” section of the form

USMAN MADNI, The visa application form obtained from the official website of the Chinese Consulate in KHI
http://karachi.china-consulate.org/eng/lsqw/P020071129072512810396.pdf has been stopped to use since July 1, 2011.

You have to use the Version "1", the form which was handed over to me personally by a Pakistani Visa officer assistant.

The Version 1 of visa application form has 4 pages, now, all China embassies and consulates accept this visa application form.

Thank you so much for your reply, feedback and response. Now it is confrmed that I have to use the V.2011A Version 1 form , which was handed over to me personally in hard-copy format by a Pakistani Visa Office Assistant in Chinese Consulate General in KHI.
I have questions now regarding the V.2011A Version 1 form.

Please remember that I am applying for Chinese Student Visa -X Visa at Chinese Consulate General in KHI, my program is masters in computer science and technology for 3 years, from Sept 2011 till July 2014, my university is HUNAN UNIVERSITY, in Changsha, Hunan Province and I am currently on SELF-FINANCE.
Now seeing the above given information, I would like to know that what needs to be written in the below given sub-sections of the V.2011A visa application form:
Section # 2.2: Intended number of entries.
Section # 2.4: Your longest intended stay among all entries of your intended visits
in China.
Section #2.5: Residence(s) and Phone Number(s) during your stay in China (in a
time sequence)
Sectoin #2.8: Name, address and phone number of your inviter or contact unit
in China
Section #2.9: Name, address, phone number of your relative, friend or contact
person in China

For Section #2.2, the pakistani visa office assistance, told me it should be: "Single entry valid for 3 months from application".

For Section #2.4, I was told that it should be "000" days.

Are the above given confirmations correct, because for Section# 2.4, in my view it should be 3 Years ( since my program is of 3 years) and for Setion#2.2, it should be "Multiple Entries valid for 12 months from application".

For Section# 2.5, I CANNOT LIST ANY residences and phone numbers during my stay in China since I do not know whether I will live on-campus or off-campus in China?

Please guide me.

This message is being sent to deliver a GOOD NEWS to you and also for a query that is concerned with the task and activity which is scheduled && planned for tomorrow (Monday: 1st August).

JOHNNASH, sir, I went to the Chinese Consulate General, in KHI Dated: 29th July for my Student Visa, I was interviewed for the Visa. After verification, validation and checking *all* of my documents, it has now been officially decided by the Chinese Consulate, that I will be granted a Chinese Student Visa - X Visa .
Therefore , I would be collecting my passport from the Chinese Consulate on the 1st August in between : 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM evening time.

Sir, my query is that , what documents, pre-requisite requirements and mandatory documentation is required for the passport to be collected from the Chinese Consulate, in KHI?.

The VISA OFFICER took the photocopy of some of my docs, along with my original passport.

Therefore there are 2 VERSION OF DOCUMENTS:
1)VERSION 1 ---> Which were submitted to him during the VISA INTERVIEW .
2)VERISON 2 --> Which were not submitted to him during the VISA INTERVIEW(ORIGINAL AND PHOTOCOPIES) are are in the candidate applicant's custody.

Therefore my query is that ::: at the time of collection of my passport, are BOTH VERSIONS OF DOCS (VERSION 1 & VERSION 2), again reviewed, validated, verified and checked by the VISA COUNSELOR OFFICER??

OR

Is it the case that once the PASSPORT COLLECTION COUNTER COUPON PICKUP FORM is issued, it means that it has now been officially decided, finalized, and fully/completely/wholly judged that the candidate applicant will be issued a visa?
I am asking because if I need to collect my passport do I need to bring all documents again - ORIGINAL AND PHOTOCOPY?

Please reply ASAP as time is running out here in KHI, PAK and it is already afternoon 1:45 PM. And I need to know if I should be preparing and rearranging the photocopy of all of documents again , just incase if it is needed again?.

PASSPORT COLLECTION COUNTER COUPON PICKUP FORM is enough for collection your passport and visa. Don't worry, generally you will be granted a student visa to China.

The above information is correct. You apply for X visa, X visa is generally single entry, valid for 3 months, with 000 days of stay, you have to apply for Residence Permit within 30 days after entry under the help of staff in charge of overseas students in Hunan University. The Residence Permit is valid for 1 year, you have to renew it annually. In fact, X visa is a just temporary document for you to enter China, then you have to get the Residence Permit.

You can fill N/A for the items of Section 2.5

For Section 2.8, you can fill the name, address and phone number of Hunan University

You can fill N/A for the items of Section 2.9
