About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

what documentation do i require if i will marry a Chinese lady and live in China permanantly?

I will soon be going to China to marry Chinese lady and to live permanantly, will i be able obtain a Multi Entry Visa for 12 months or what must i do. what documentation do i require. I am a British Citizen living in South Africa with a South African residence permit and i am retired.

You can apply for a single entry tourist visa to enter China first, and register your marriage during its duration in China. Once you get married in China, you can apply for a long term family visit visa or a residence permit from your wife's local PSB.
